Andrea Jörger Joins Horwath HTL, Switzerland as New Managing Partner

Horwath HTL is delighted to announce that Andrea Jörger, MRICS has been confirmed as the new Managing Director of the Swiss office of international consulting brand Horwath HTL.
Andrea Jörger joins after a stellar career in hospitality and real estate, including as General Manager of the Hotel Palace in Lucerne, Senior VP of The Circle, the award-winning development of Zurich airport, several years as a consultant with a focus on the development of mixed-use real estate and managing director of the Swiss office with four operations, the last two years of which were spent as Chief Development Officer responsible for development in Europe.

Andrea replaces Heinz Wehrle who is retiring after 15 years with Horwath HTL, first in Austria and then in Zug as Managing Director of Horwath HTL, Switzerland. Heinz will continue his teaching at the Ecole Hotelier du Lausanne and work on other projects.
Andrea joins the newly established Horwath HTL DACH team, set up to service the Swiss, Austrian and German markets seamlessly, and will work closely with his colleagues Christian Buer in Frankfurt and Brigitte Gruber in Vienna.

We take corporate social responsibility seriously at Horwath HTL. To us, our responsibilities as a network are not just confined to how we conduct ourselves in a business sense, but how we can positively affect our client’s projects so that they maximize returns without impacting negatively on the environment.
Real estate is generally a drain on resources and can produce a significant amount of waste. Horwath HTL have taken steps to address as many of these issues as possible and were the first brand to include as standard a section on sustainability and sustainable methods for developing and building hotels in their client reports.
Additionally, Horwath HTL created the HICAP sustainability award at the annual HICAP hotel investment conference in Hong Kong. These awards rewarded the hotel projects that had shown the greatest commitment to sustainable business practices over the previous year.
