Overview
Gastronomy and management-specific consulting process support for the merger of the two units Gutsschänke Neuhof and Alte Backstube as well as possible expansion strategies to complete the new organization.
Solution
An overhead cost value analysis is carried out to reduce (overhead) costs, especially in the area of administrative tasks. This type of value analysis compares costs and benefits and uses creativity techniques to determine where costs can be saved without losing benefits.
Implementation
The evaluations of the analyses were discussed as a dialogue in the workshop. With the goal of convincing the team to restructure as a whole, operational processes can be improved and workflows optimized. Prof. Dr. Christian Buer used various moderation & dialog techniques to invite people to actively participate in and shape the reorganization process. To ensure an imaginative and unbiased process, we started directly with creativity techniques. Together with the 10-member management team, a common mission statement for the new old brand “Gut Neuhof” was developed in a creative process under professional guidance, and based on this, a strategy for implementing the merger or reorganization.
